So, I always see people talking about how the site won't let them/they don't know how to upload pictures yada yada yada. I'll pretty much of over the basics of the, well, you know, I think...
Anywho, let's start.
-Images/Gifs: To post images without uploading them, get a direct link of image somewhere on the internet, a direct link to an image should look something like this: http://www.example.com/picture1.png <Notice it ends with the image's file extension, whether this be .gif .jpg .bmp or anything, as long as it's an image. These can be achieved by right clicking an image and pressing "Copy Image URL". Now that we have our image's direct link, let's actually put it to use. What we do is we type (exactly as I do) Obviously you use your link instead of the example one
-Youtube Videos: This is probably one of the easier ones. All you have to do is take that Youtube video link and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MzXdb2QX5rg
-Making works clickable links: Type your word, highlight it, then click the link button (beside the unlink button shown below) http://gyazo.com/d5c4987817d34407e4b53b3a96b530f2.png It will come up a link box. Paste in the link you want it to lead to and voila! You got a linked word!
-Other thoughts: As you may have seen above, you may have noticed that I typed examples and none of them turned into what they should have, but just stayed as text. This is because if you wrap the text in [plain][img]koolcatz.com/imagegif2343.gif/[/plain] it will have no effect on the links (turning them into embedded images, videos, etc.).
-Also, if you are getting something that looks like this with pictures (similar thing with videos, I think?), that is because the link that is wrapped in those commands are being recognized as a clickable link. It looks a little like this :
It looks like this http://gyazo.com/2d8fcac68aae12989244db66cfea4fab
All you have to do is click on the green link of the image and then press this button:

There's more, but I'm tired and can't think of them. Anyway, if I remember them I'll add them ASAP.
