And hypixel, and shotbow, and every other major server network on minecraft. If you don't want to use it though, that's fine. We are keeping the old way of joining servers as well.

I personally love it! It's annoying to keep seeing players say we copied the hive. Perhaps the idea was inspired by the hive's hub (bouncepads, hub, etc) but even if it was: What's the big deal? Just ignore it if you don't like it. Thankfully, you don't need to join it to get into a game.
