Well, this is interesting..

I was going through the old news posts for a thread I was working on when I came across this:

The threads talks about The Survival Games 3 (By Team Vareide) However, that picture shows a almost completely different map. The mountain is fairly similar, but the landscape around it is completely different. The SG3 version everyone is familiar with is a jungle setting, but this one has a setting similar to an SG1 setting. What do you think happened? Do you think the original SG3 is still out there? If so, does anyone else have any more screenshots of it or stories on why the original version was scrapped?

Look at the trees around it, perhaps the water circle is similar, but some of the scenery is completely different.

They probably thought it was too similar to SG1 so they went with a jungle setting instead of forest.
