No offense to any of their fans, but they're not good enough at PvP to be a hacker. (Well, Bajan uses BSM, but it's not a full "Hack")
Not to mention they record videos: If they were caught hacking, they would lose tons of fans etc.

I love how people consider(ed) BSM a hack. It was a mod. True "hacking" is only when you penetrate (hehe) another player's computer/connection ports for any malicious reason. "Cheating" is just the use of modified CLIENTS (such as Nodus, etc.)

Cheating through MODS is also different than cheating through a client. BSM remaps one key for goodness sake. Rei's minimap is just that, a map that shows players. Nodus was essentially Minecraft recoded. Two very, very different things. Also, X-ray resource packs are <b>cheating</b> in general Minecraft, but not hacking, as they weren't modifying Minecraft, they just had some interesting textures.

Plus, hypothetically, if I wanted to cheat you, I could block glitch, use a minimap, code a mod that regens my health abnormally fast (e.g. the new regen thingy that's going around but definitely not a hack since NCP isn't freezing its users on the spot). On the other hand, if I wanted to hack you, I could just flood one of a select number of your ports with meaningless data packets and lag your connection out entirely (ladies and gentleman, the Direct Denial of Service attack, commonly known as DDoS).

Hacking is a criminal offense in regards to Minecraft; cheating is just unsportsmanlike and a breach of MCGamer ToS (terms of service) and rules.

Hacking Examples:
Viruses (Trojans, Black Wolf, Red Herring, etc.)
DDoS (LDoS, etc.)
Lag-scripts (actually aversely affect the connection of other players on a server)
XML/HTML Injections (typically used on websites, not games)

Wouldn't that pretty much be a "Hacked" client?

These are all "Hacked" clients, even clients with only OptiFine installed, as they are "Altered" or "Refined"

However, you do prove a few valid points, and I thank you for pointing them out.
But you must remember that this is the MCG (MCGamer or MCSG) Community, and is allowed to make it's own rules, regulations, and terms: In this case, "Hack" refers to things such as Xray, Nodus, etc.
