Iron, Only in terms of the Chest and pants though if I remember correctly
Gold, Chain, and Iron Helm/boots are all the same.

All boots except iron do half an armor bar. Iron do 1 armor bar

Iron over chain (unless its the helmet, they're equal). However, diamond over iron

Helm - Gold=Chain=Iron
Chest - Gold=Chain<Iron
Pants - Gold<Chain<Iron
Boots - Gold=Chain<Iron
