What is Hell Games?

Hello whoever is reading this! I know NOTHING about the Hell Games but sooooo many people are talking about it! so could someone please explain to me what it is, and when it is held, and how i may be able to join?

It's a Hunger Games monthly event where 24 (sometimes 48) players compete on a custom map with only chests at corn, and the gamemakers influence the game with mob spawns and other antics. Sponsoring is also a factor. You can apply next time, the thread will be in Minor Announcements.

Is there a way i can go back and watch chad's POV? (Point of view) it's not on his twitch past broadcasts.
And what's a QQ? (Quarter Quell) i have read hell games 7 and 8 fourm post but that really does not tell me much.

Quarter Quell (in MCSG as well as the Hunger Games Books/Movies) is a special type of Hunger Games. In the actual Hunger Games book a quarter quell occurs every 25 Hunger Games Events. With Hell Games I feel it is random because Hell Games 7 was a quarter quell and there is no such pattern going into seven unless it started at the third and it is every four games.

Chad dosen't usually play in the Hell Games, but he does spectate it and livestreams it to his Twitch.
