1. Sword, easy to hit 1 on my keyboard, so I like having it
2. Bow, right next to my sword which is good
3. Flint And Steel, I am good at hot-keying to 3 so I keep it here

6. Food, it's great to have on your hotbar at all times
7. Golden Apple, never know when you're gonna need one
8. Arrows, because then I can see how much ammunition I have at all times ;D
9. Fishing Rod, next to my sword so I can use the fishing-rod technique easily without hot-keying
