What just happened?!

So just now, I was playing an MCSG game on Demon's Breeze, and it was a full lobby of 24. When the game started nobody went to spawn, and I got all of the spawn chests. I thought I just had good connection, and that the other people had bad connection, but that was not the case. Everybody was just walking around aimlessly while I was killing everyone. When I went back into the hub, I told people and other people were telling me that it happened to them too!

Has this happened to any of you guys?

Do you guys know what happened?! Because I have absolutely no clue whatsoever.
