What kind of computer do you have, what RAM do you have, and what fps do you get?

I have bad knowledge on computer specs :p
So Internet is like download and upload speed, and fps is computer/ram/graphics card?

Also Chobski You are right, my fps caps at 60, viewing through fraps, but how does the minecraft in game fps work?

The minecraft in-game fps is the same as what I was explaining before, it may say 200 or something along those lines but it is basing this assumption on two key factors:
  • Your screen has a fast enough refresh rate to notice this FPS (60 Hz or 30 fps)
  • The human eye can register over this amount. Something that is interesting is not what FPS is there but how much the game 'motion blurs' the graphics which in turn makes frame changes more seamless.
I am not too much of an expert on this sort of thing but Minecraft FPS is not too accurate and I don't think it employs a too high standard of motion blur which makes the FPS seem higher. Therefore, collating our results we find that it is best to have your FPS as high as possible to allow for this lack of motion blur.

Hope this helped :D
