What made you start mcsg?

So? What made you guys start mcsg... Was it a youtuber, found it out yourself, a friend told you?

I started when I saw the youtubers play. It looked cool, and yes when I say I joined after the youtubers played, I mean I started that long ago x)

Anyway, how'd you get into the wonderful world of mcsg

I started playing back in April when is used to play with the owners of this one Youtube channel (with about 5k subscribers) They were called TheCanadianMinerz (They're gone now) but yeah, they wanted me to record a game of MCSG with them and of course my response was, "wait, isn't that that server that's impossible to get into" And since then, I've learned not to join the US servers mid-day on the weekend as a non-donor. So yeah, that's my story.

I started playing because I read the books. Because The Hunger Games was so similar to minecraft, I looked up Minecraft hunger games on google, found this website and started playing. I've been an MCSG'er since April 29, 2012.

I saw a video Antvenom posted where he did a game with a ton of other YouTubers. That was in September of last year I think. I found a good group of HG servers that only played Variede maps; however, those servers were takene down. I later found these servers by doing a google search for Hunger Games servers. I played a few matches and was pretty impressed. It was still MCSGv1 back then. After that, I took a break from multiplayer Minecraft to focus on my building skills and school.

A few months later, in January, I was on a server hunt and I found these servers again. I hadn't learned all of the tricks of joining early in a lobby to avoid being kicked, so I got upset and stopped playing in February. Thank god I did because I used my extra time not playing Minecraft and improved my grades. Come April, I was hunting for servers again, and I remembered these servers. I added a whole bunch to my server list and played them with a few of my friends. I haven't stopped playing since. In late June, I finally got the courage to make a forum account and start posting here. And, well, the rest is history.

Came back from the Hunger Games movie and googled for it. It wasn't out at the time though.
Googled it a couple weeks later and it was out by then

I watched Antvenoms video on survival games and I wanted to play competitive fun games like survival games. Then one day , me and 3 other friends were playing on a survival server and I said it became repetitive and I want to play hunger games then one of my friends told me about mcsg.
