Yes, you can update to 1.6.4, MCSG is compatible with any version of 1.6.

Go to your launcher, and make a new profile.

Find the "Use version:" drop-down box, and select "1.6.4." (You might have to scroll up a bit in the drop-down).

Press "Save Profile", select the profile, and press play :)

Congrats, you're playing with 1.6.4!

[EDIT: My bad-- I thought you were asking how to update :p. You can update now-- MCSG is totally compatible :)]

In theory you can connect to MCSG with all versions of 1.6, but me and some others have found that there are some servers, specificaly 195+ that it says the server is outdated. Not sure if bug or MCSG forgot to update a few servers.

You can play MCSG on any version of Minecraft, from 1.6.2 all the way up to the 1.7 snapshot.

E. If it says that you have an outdated client, just use direct connect to get to the hubs.

Yeah, since there weren't many changes in 1.6.4 and the plugins can work on both, all of 1.6 is compatible.
