I made a point. Full stop. Address my point with care. Now just wait til all the baccas come here complaining about being banned for sprint hacks.
There is a slight difference, that being Hacks are actually involved. Sprinthackers are easy to detect from the crowd, real players are far harder to detect, yet that is the real task that befalls moderators, not the other way around. And sure, let the baccas come and complain, if the leading unit could come up with a valid way to determine hackers from innocents, the hacking baccas would fall for it either way, whilst innocents would be spared this cyber-harassment. My point with this thread is to catch the eye of the leaders, so they can find a valid way of improving this mess for the better.

What i have also noticed that moderators and maybe above, are TRYING to catch evidence of people hacking that are not hacking, based by reputation and donor/donor level. I have actually tested this and i was surprised of what i have discovered. Example: A player gets a killstreak/kills the moderator and he instantly jumps on the case, trying to catch him hacking even if he is not. As you said this is starting to be a ban-hungry staff/community.

No thread has grasped my full attention and awareness of such a serious situation before, whether this community is crumbling or not you are standing up for your brother and that's what really makes me appreciate what your trying to do only for the better of this server, you have my support. Although i show my fullest respect to the majority of the staff on MCSG, their are some that need to take a little more caution and try not to abuse the privileges they have been given as moderators.

I agree with you on the fact that sufficient proof is required for bans, something that the staff may have been lax about recently. I also agree with you on the fact that the system is not necessarily set up in a manner conducive to dissent nor to an appeal when the staff has decided their opinion on a matter. However, I do not feel that your attacks on the staff are justified, for, though the system may not be the best mantained, the people making it up all do their jobs to the best of their abilities, which is quite a lot. These people devote just as much time, energy, and skill to these servers as do highly ranked players, and they deserve the same level of respect, not to be yelled at for making a call that others disapprove of. Moderators do not 'harass' specific members, no more than players do. They watch the servers as a whole, and attempt to catch hackers, who, in some cases, happen to be highly ranked (I am speaking generally here, not specifically of Teovald). There has, however, been an affliction as of lte among the staff, with many moderators being rather ban hungry and banning on less than solid evidence. However, though bans may not necessarily be fair, they can be overturned with calm, reasoned, argument.

Now, to move on specifically to Teovald's ban, and the treatment of it. Though I do not know everything there is to know about the situation (next to nothing about the staff response, indeed), I can speak of your response. It is reasonable certainly, in response to Teovald's ban, but the manner in which it has been carried out is not the manner which is likely to produce results. With this and your previous post, with the tone verging closer to rage than to reason, you are unlikely to do anything to solve the situation (though I am not sure if that is your intent). Though you may be pointing out some flaws within the staff that do indeed need to be adressed, you have gone beyond that to insult the staff, the servers, and the people who attempt to protect these servers. Instead of making a public thread, full of rage and hate, you should instead have created a ban dispute, as Philly recommended on your previous thread. In this ban dispute, you can point out logically why Teovald should be unbanned and why he was not hacking, instrad of just yelling to the forums at large. If you were rebuffed by an admin or Sr. Mod (As these are the only members of staff who are able to handle ban disputes), and you feel that their treatment was unfair, then you go to one of our Comm. Managers, @BicentennialMan or Col_StaR - They will deal with any problems you have with staff, thoroughly and efficiently. Creating a thread on the public forums is likely to achieve nothing but a brief discussion and an eventual lock (Though I do not necessarily agree with this treatment, this is the reality of the situation). Again, talk to a Comm Manager, and deal with it in a conversation with them. The moderators cannot do anything, the players cannot do anything, and, at least according to you, the admins are not willing to do anything. So bring it to the Comm Managers, and they'll deal with it.

And now for your response. I hope you take the time to thoroughly read and reply to the points which I have made.
I always like your long posts as they are always good

we do not ban player because they are good we ban them if we have solid evidence of the person hacking and do not say no one in the staff ever tryed to help teo because i did. the next thing you should not comment on it being unfair as you have a conflict of interest. my next point your idea of banning mods no just no people would ban them if they ban there friends saying it was "unfair" now if you have a problem with the staff talk to a admin or community manager on teamspeak.
