May be because you're entering the wrong IP to the server. There are four different IP's:
us.mcgamer.net
ca.mcgamer.net
au.mcgamer.net
eu.mcgamer.net
If you're still receiving problems, just comment, and will try to help you if I can.

Bad login - Try Restarting your Launcher.
Login Connectiong Error - Yes, I've had this today, it might be your own connection or MCSG down for maintenance. Can you join other servers other than mcsg?
Forever Connecting - Wrong IP adress.
