When really good players are discussed, sometimes I see people saying stuff like "This guy win farms. He's not legit" or something similar. How does something like this even work? Unless there's some sort of win glitch, or if they have 23 donor alts that all /kill, what makes some peoples' wins different from others?

Players that take another player, relatively good and play late at night. When they both reach dm the other /kills so they win.

Probably not a good idea to call players out like that as it can pretty easily start a flame war...
As for your definition, I'd pretty much agree with it.

Late at night? Maybe that was true last year, but lately that's been the most difficult time for me to win any games. That's usually when I find a bunch of huge teams. I have more success in the evening. But yeah, that definition makes sense.

Or maybe all those huge teams I come across are for win farming...

Before, if you wanted to "no-life" to get wins, you'd just come on late at night or during the day when most people are at school. I've not really played late at night but days I'm off from school I've come on and that seems to be a peak time for hackers as there is a reduced number of mods. People do boost other people's wins a lot but I guess there's not really much to do unless you repeatedly catch them in the act.

There's not much point catching them, there's no rule against it is there? I don't see why, they're just teaming aren't they? What difference does I make which one wins.

I've seen mods say that boosting isn't allowed though, there's a clear difference between boosting and teaming. If you intentionally go to servers and fill them up with a team and get your whole team to /kill so you win straight away, it's boosting, not teaming.
