The whole point of the game is to have a fair playing ground. Lots of people who play do not know or mastered the art of using the fishing pole to kill your opponent when comboing with a sword.

Take them out and everyone will be on a fair playing ground with only swords/axes/bows.

That's kind of like saying anything which requires a bit of practice should be taken out of any game ever. For example, cs:go should take out all sniper rifles because some people cannot master them. I could understand if you were saying this because fishing rods required special gaming equipment to use, although that is not the case. Everyone is able to master this skill and use it to advantage them (maybe you just need some practice ). c:
