I suck at survival games, I only rely on PvP skill to win.

Can we be friends?

I literally think I've only lost in deathmatch like 100 times. I either don't make it to deathmatch, or win in deathmatch

My PvP skills have improved greatly in the past few days. but still, I don't manage to win a lot of games. Considering I usually make it to Deathmatch.

If you are really great at PVP then you should win even if you have terrible strategy. Whenever I play solo I have blasting music and I just Yolo everything (Killings teams without using flint and steel), but I still win a majority of my games. Now I don't really play MCSG competitively and I have stopped doing so since May, but when I play for fun I don't really think about anything while I'm playing. When I'm not teaming with people, jumping off of buildings, etc, etc I manage to win 50% or so of my games without a real good strategy (Only rule is to run when you are 1 hearts, and do a turn around and try to Clutch it when you are 3 hearts). With that being said I when I do play for "real" I do incorporate strategy in what I do. My best advice is to Never give Up, because I've been in situations that I could have easily given up and died, but I kept believing in myself and managed to win.

You mentioned that you sometimes get nervous. I was the same too, and talking to people while playing solo helped me a bit.

I'm not trying to say that I'm a master at PvPing and whatnot. Pretty much what I was trying to say is that my 'skill' level is way higher before the DM then during the DM. At least, I feel like it is.

This thread has so much potential for people to be full of themselves and cocky. My take on this is that your w/l ratio shows skill, winning is the whole point of the game. I don't like people that say they are good at pvp. Being modest is so much better, I much prefer being around people that even if they know they are good they don't say they are.
Win/loss = pvp/strategy and the skill of your opponents.

Well they have to be at least somewhat decent players to get to the final three. I feel like finding a good chest route is more important early on in the game than killing players since towards the end it's best to assume you'll be facing people of similar skill level so you want to be able to out gear them.

How do you generally tend to die? In straight forward pvp? getting knocked off something? etc.
If the other person sits back and lets you kill the other player before they engage you, you tend to be at a bit of a disadvantage as well.

Whaaaaaa, Haaaay. Sorry for going off topic, so Ill type something.

Keep on trying to win. After a while, you will be used to most scenerios, wether its teamers, or block hitters or flint and steelers. Eventually you'll be able to master them all.
