Ah, I am so glad the "fishing rod strategy" has been popularized here at MCGamer.
Believe it or not, it generally does more harm than good to users. I often find myself fighting people who quite literally waste their time using the fishing rod. Said users will hit me with it thinking they did something effective and gain confidence when in reality, they have done little to nothing.

More in-depth, with the addition of toggle sprint fishing rods are going to be less useful, how about we talk about that?

Well, it's not the end of the world, I guess you are right about it never being gone also what I recommend to all of those fishing rod technique haters is: Try it yourself or find a way to counter it instead of going all rage when they apply that technique on you.

But you're glad it's popularized because you don't think it's worth people's time and you can easily beat it, giving a slight meaning that they're wrong for using it.
