In response to a thread posted by the Map Committee

I do love the thought of having Deathmatch Arenas as manyy maps corns are just not designed to have a fair deathmatch on.
However it is unnecessary and unneeded to give every map a unique deathmatch arena as a lot of maps corns are already perfect for deathmatch,
Some of these include:
Vareide SG1
Vareide SG4
Holiday Resort (Now that the grass has been removed)
Teweran SG2
Wyverns Wake
Fortress Pyke
Chrenobyl 2015
Maps that are in desperate need of DM Arena's are:
Vareide SG5: Water
Breeze Island: Fishing Rod trick
Teweran SG1: Water and Ice
Teweran SG3: Half slabs, gaps, separate levels
Vida Cova: Water, vines, separate levels
Origins: Separate levels
SG Highway: Not flat enough
Rugged Lands: Separate levels
Avaricia: Separate levels
Fortune Island: Grass and holes in the flooring
Moonbase 9: Separate levels
Remnant: Separate levels
Kharmunrah: half slabs
Lobby Games: Needs to be made larger, Separate levels
Things to bare in mind when making DM Arenas:
Do NOT add tall grass, glass blocks, half slabs, stairs/steps and ice blocks as you can not place flint and steel on them.
Do NOT add separate levels such as on Avaricia, Moonbase 9, Remnant and Vida Cova as players will be allowed to camp and run for the entire deathmatch resulting in an unfair fight.
Do NOT add water. Breeze Island, enough said.
Do NOT make them small, Lobby Games for example.
Also, contact the creators of the maps to allow them to add their own deathmatch arena.
Since they know the look and feel to their own maps the best. They would definitely make the best design.
For example, allow wronsiski and myself to make the deathmatch arena for Wyverns Wake.
Make all deathmatch flat as they make the best and most fair places to fight. Which is why many 1v1s are done at the airfield on SG4 or the football stadium on Valleyside.
