Excuses as everyone else said, I personally do not block hit. I would rather have the mobility and with blockhitting you don't have that.

Fishing rod-ing, block hitting, these are all just tactics. I don't really care if someone uses them. Whatever works best for you I guess.
I can block hit, I just choose not to.

It really grinds my gears when someone says "omg noob u blockhit/strafe/fns/bowspam/fishing rod etc when it's a strategy which works for some and less for others, no strategys that works are nooby (In my opinion). If it kills you, shouldn't that make you the noob instead? (I don't mean this to offend, but it may come of that way)

I say that if your good at blockhitting, go for it but blockhitting also gives not much of an advantage when you think about it. Blockhitting reduces damage but remember that you cant sprint or strafe while blockhitting... well at least normal players can't.

Blockhitters are easy to kill, just don't get hit, as they can't turn as well

Yeah I find that when I block hit my hitting distance decreases and I cant get Combos. I usually only block hit if there's someone with better gear, as I'm a fast clicker and I can spam my Left Mouse Key easily.

I think the only strategy that is nooby is the RC/Delect Strategy.

Well I do not support block hitting if it is in an open area but if it is in a closed area and you want to win the battle I suggest you block hit.

Block hitting is for pros i aint a pro so i aint block hittin it takes so much skillz to perform. Maybe i should get hacks, hmm.... Nah.

Complaining will be here to stay, the majority of people will always want to pin the blame on something besides the comparison in skill level or luck and it can either be something internal or external to the game whether it be lag, tiredness and poor quality equipment - or mechanics in the game itself. It's not just Minecraft; I've got a few other examples above such as Halo, most FPShooters etc.

It's an option in the game. If there were a competitive game whereas there is a mechanic to shield for a small duration, but it requires quick reflexes to be used efficiently, people who are good at it will use it... and others who do not excel at it will use it an excuse, which really just boils down to skill/luck.

I don't want to see anyone explaining why they think block-hitting is nooby because there are no valid reasons to support that argument. You do what it takes to win the game, and at times block hitting is a tactic that can be the difference in a fight. Simple as that.

It's not nooby. I use it, but only when the situation calls for it. If I'm in a tight space, I will always block hit, but when I'm out in the open, I'll go for the strafe 10 time out of 10.
