Do you really think that these situations where widely known players are suspected of hacking are just dealt with and swept under the carpet? Because um, no.

In all of these cases, the majority of staff members have discussed it thoroughly together, and reached a final decision. Players are not simply banned and ignored because we don't like them, it's more that there is sufficient evidence against them, and they all join together to cry about it. And if multiple staff members agree on it, you have to say that it is sufficient.

As a new-ish moderator, I have to state that if anybody is doing their job wrong, making mistakes, it is swiftly handled. The senior staff go through all bans to make sure that the evidence is sufficient, and if it is not, the moderator who made the mistake gets a little talk, and trust me; that mistake is not made again.

An "anti moderator crew" which keeps control of the moderators works. If the moderators works are incorrect, the anti moderators may chose a fitting punishment for the moderator, this would surely prevent "corrupt mods" from preventing normal players.
Um, yeah... the senior staff. And if you're suggesting that we let a few non-staff members, including banned players be a part of this little crew, then definitely no way.

I agree with most of it. If you're hated by a senior member of staff, you're being permabanned. Mods will lick that persons ass and this is one of the reasons of unfair bans. I think there should be a lot more concentration on unbanning people.
I completely disagree. I for one am not afraid of arguing civilly with other staff members in order to get my poitn across for what I believe in. If I, another staff member, or any other member of community suspect bias from another moderator (or higher), we report it to a Community Manager; Bicentennial_Man and/or Col_StaR. If you would wish to talk to them about abusive staff members, hop on TeamSpeak and send them a poke, and they'll drag you up to a meeting room to discuss it. They look into the issue, and deal with it once they have both sides of the story and know exactly what is going on.

Wow that was rude... we join together and cry? That really made me angry right now ... First you ban us now you are being rude to us. What next ? You will start swearing maybe?

Actually it goes [Ban] -> [You act rude] -> [Then we counter], don't forget that centre step.

Like Raid has said, The banning of players or widely known players go under the carpet? There has to be Very Sufficient evidence, with multiple staff members agreeing that this is clearly hacking. It's not just someone's opinion. The Sr.Staff are checking the bans in case someone is falsely banned. They are looking at the ban disputes, seeing if someone has been unfairly banned. If you are banned, it's because multiple staff members have clearly said, "Yes this is hacks", not as your depicting it, where if your hated by a mod you get banned.

The "Anti Moderator Crew" i feel won't be able to work, your saying that the moderators/staff are corrupt. I am guessing that this crew will be also corrupt, your friends with someone in the 'crew' then of course you are going to be argued for, even if the evidence is clear. The crew shouldn't also be able to decide the punishment, this would create more corruption, meaning if some moderator you don't like makes a wrong move.. Boom, the punishment would be greater than a moderator you do like.

Now, if you know a staff is abusing his/her powers. Go on team speak and poke a member of Sr.Staff, you WILL be able to put forward your evidence towards the moderator and a decision will be made further upon the evidence given.

Thanks

This. The Anti Moderator Crew sounds like a way to scare the mods into working perfectly all the time, which is near impossible due to human error and lag issues. And also "Anti Moderator"? Really? Try finding a name which doesn't make you sound 100% against the mods.

Last time I checked you needed evidence to ban players.

I've seen the 'evidence' and I have to say, the amount of hacks in there were 0. I saw Teo... Hitting people, should totally get banned got hax.

I honesty think the staff should go over the evidence again and recheck it, no one is right or wrong and I'm not trying to flame against anyone, but Teos ban was unfair. How hacks were determined from it I have no idea.

Can anyone say Canziano and Kosmish?

Both used GAMMA, one was banned for it the other was given a warning, seems a little unfair.
