Hackers? Anti-cheat? Plug-ins? Make the hacking rules more strict?

I think we can all agree that perma ban first offense wouldn't work, simply because unfair bans. I think it simple that hackers should be banned for longer. How staff wants to do it, whether is longer for certain hacks, or just longer for all hacks in general, is really up to them. But something needs to be done to prevent the hackers from just coming back. If they are banned for a month for hacking.. then well, thats 1 less hacker for a month.

shotbow has an amazing anticheat plugin.. I've never once lagged back because of anticheat playing legitly. My friend tried to hack on there and was instantly banned.
I'm pretty sure it's possible.

Please update point one of your thread, as it is inaccurate. First offense for hacking is a 7-day ban, second offense is a permanent ban. I know that this has been discussed and cleared up in earlier posts in the thread, but some people will only read the first post and conclude that what you stated is correct.

I know of an Anti-Aimbot plugins that does not cause ANY lag and is extremely effective. I'll see if I can get my hands on a copy of it (It's on a private server) and message someone.

That would be very helpful . Its always great when people know some great anti cheat things to help out the community

I just spoke with the server owner and he is being EXTREMELY cautious with who he gives the plugin to. (Because if you have the source code, you can usually find a way around it) The only way he would hand it over is MAYBE if he spoke with @ChadTheDJ / @Forairan / another Developer or maybe Admin. I would post the server name, but that would be advertising, so take my word. :[

you will most likely have to either email chad himself or message him here on the forums. Talk to him about it. If he is comfortable with it and so are the developers, then they will go from there.

If someone knows how to find, download, and then install hacks, then they are smart enough to know hacking is wrong. No second chances.
