I've played 2 games in this update, both made me too disappointed to play more. I'll leave the removal of fence glitching for later. But the new mechanic of map percentages of them getting picked is an unfair addition. MCSG, I understand that you want other maps to be played often, but this way can get you easily screwed over to playing SG 3. I also feel it lowers donation perks a little bit. Instead, a system should be implemented where each vote is 1%, iron = 2% , gold = 3% , diamond = 4% and so on, and if all maps are at 1% (1 vote) then it's a random chance on which map, and say there is 5% (5 votes) on Holiday Resort (just an example map) and 10% (10 votes) on Solar Frost, then there would be a 33.3% chance that Holiday Resort will be picked and a 66.6% chance that Solar Frost will be picked. It's a similar concept to the new map voting system, but slightly modified, and I think it's better that way. This might be complicated to code, but it's the only map system that gives a chance for other voted maps to play, that I think is better than the new system. If anyone else can think of a better system, It would be very interesting to read it :)

I have not yet played on this new system, but I think I get what you mean.

I would like this feature, however it completely removes the chance of other maps. That's why I think it would be good if it left some room for a different map that wasn't voted for, such as 1-5% per map, or a larger chance for all maps not voted for.

I read this three times and I'm 90% sure this is already the exact system in place.

I know how the system works, but you explained it really weird xD Anyways my thoughts, I think if no one was complaining about it, it shouldn't have been changed. It's a very awkward system and makes it less fun for people trying to play the maps they love. I love Valleyside, so say I'm in a game with Valleyside, it has a decent amount of votes. Some new player votes for Fallen Collosi or Destiny's Shiver and it gets selected randomly. I have to go find a new game and it makes me sad ;-; I just want a command that sends me to a lobby with that map ;c like /sgmap valleyside or /sgmap 1 if they were numbered. You could do /sgmap list to see what number your favourite map was and then you could easily get in a game with it :)

Sorry, I did explain it very weird. The current system MCSG just added, takes all the votes and gives a percentage per each vote, say there were 5 votes for Holiday Resort and 20 votes for Origins, since there are 25 votes, each vote would count as 5%, so Holiday Resort would have a 20% chance of being played and Origins would have a 80% chance. The system I'm suggesting add a percentage (depending on rank) on how often they would get voted.I'm a diamond donor, so I would get 4% added towards the map of my choice.

I have not yet played on this new system, but I think I get what you mean.

The new system doesn't do that. They give 0% to maps that no one voted for.

This has just confused me even more about the new system, I guess I will have to test it out for myself!

I think it's great, any bugs will be worked out, and this actually gives maps that are never played a chance. Now my vote for Sg2 will count for something :p

Changes may be made to make it a better system, but the fact that you said "my vote for sg2 will count" is the reason I don't like the new system, because there is a chance that a map that the rest of the lobby doesn't like to get played, because 1 person voted for it. Democracy is the way to go for map systems.

Well, you will still get the maps you want most of the time, but isn't it good to mix things up a little? Do you really want to play Valleyside 5 times in 8 games?

That's what the switching system is for, it switches out maps so you can only vote for 5 maps, or random. Plus, if someone didn't want to play valleyside 5 times, it's called /hub . :I
