Some maps on other servers have been worked on for months, litterally.nStill they suck. What are you trying to say? You may have been working on a map for a very long time, still, that does mot make the map being considered as an amazingly well made map.

No one other than a few people seems to get why this map is being removed, or why other maps were removed. Quality is something that most community maps have a huge lack of. Moonlight has an AWFUL lack of quality:

  • Looking terrible
  • Unfair cornucopia, you can't say "you are just having bad luck or maybe you suck" as an excuse, like GuyK did.
  • Buildings have an amazingly huge lack of detail
  • Gameplay is boring, if you don't get killed unfairly at corn, you get killed by someone jumping down on you, with less good gear.
  • Easy to get the rubber band glitch at small places, making it impossible to escape.
Chad has decided to remove a map that lacks quality, why even question it?






1. It does not look TERRIBLE, its just not up to the standard of the best mcsg maps.
2. The corn is a bit unfair, but if that is half a reason why they delete a map then a lot of others, which we play about 4 times a day, have to go too.
3. It had some pretty cool things, like how you had to climb up the hill around the corn then jump into the water.
The buildings are detailed enough, its just not SG4/SG5 standard.
4. If you get unfairly killed at corn, it means you did not do the lily pad jump, and the other death you mentioned can happen in any map.
5. Valleyside has a glitch where you can't even get loot from a dead guy...

I am starting to love how every defendant of Moonlight Lake says "I will move to Hive if you remove this map!" like if they thought everyone would miss them, and keep the map. There is no need explaining for you, you will keep on defending something that can't be defended anymore.

Well you have a good point, but despite the fact the other 2 maps aren't the map makers faults, doesn't make a difference to the fact that no-one can enjoy a game on that map because of the glitches. All I'm saying is they should be removed for a little bit, while the devs try to fix the bugs, and then put them back on. Just a suggestion.

And also the glitch with valleyside university, where when you kill someone you don't get their stuff. I think these 3 things are good reasons why they should be removed while they fix the glitches, or completely removed if they can't. It's very well having a well built map that looks great, but it's another thing being able to play it fairly, even if it is an awesome map, if it can't be played fairly thanks to glitches, it is unfair to still have it on. Fair enough with moonlight lake, spawn is extremely unfair, and the buildings aren't as good as other maps, I think it should be removed. But please consider working on the other maps glitches, and remove them while you try to fix them, or else people will lose unfairly. :p
