That was all legitamate discussion, you perceive as immature because it was directed toward you. I think you were being the immature one on that thread for sure, everyone was giving opinions, you were flaming people that gave those opinions. That's all I have to say on the matter, or really, anything you have to say.

I was countering others opinions, which is how a debate and a discussion works. And why did the thread get locked if it was a mature, legitimate discussion?

You just like to flame don't you? It seems a lot of the problems is from the fact that TE's work is under appreciated. I'm not th biggest fan of TE, but I did like lost ridge. But that's not really important. Team Elite may be upset that the work they do is getting them nothing but hate, but that's how life is. I tried helping the community a month back, wanna know what happened to me? I was perm banned for a short time for "conspiracy" personally I found it hurtful and insulting. But I just moved on, like we all should.

I agree with this post 100%. Team Elite makes great maps and great lobbies. You guys should be happy the old lobby even came back.

Come on guys, I want this to be a nice discussion about this thread I typed up, not a bunch of flamewars full of people doing face-palms, insults, and negative attitude.

If I see a few more conversations that is a part of this flamewar, this thread will be locked. Please don't make me do this.

It's very rude that people would get so mad over the hard work Team Elite puts in to all their builds and projects. Without them we would not have so many things we have today on the servers. Maybe next time you should think about that before go and raging on the forums about how bad everything is. I personally thank them for their hard work and dedication they have put in for the satisfaction of us .

I do appreciate how much time and effort that TE puts in and all of the builds they do, but the hub just struck a nerve for me. It kinda feels like they messed with the nostalgia of the old lobby. It's like if a family owned, amazing tasting ice cream shop went out of business, then was later replaced by a nation-wide chain ice cream shop that tasted worse. I would have personally enjoyed it more if it hadn't been messed with and they just replaced it with the old one. But don't get me wrong, TE did a good job replacing everything with 1.6 blocks. I'm really happy to somewhat have the old lobby back.

I do certainly like, and respect Team Elite. They create maps for us, in the mindset of pleasing, and helping the community, and that, I respect.

Posts, and opinions I have given over the last few days were either regarding the renovations of the lobby, and my opinions there, or the lack of community communication it sometimes seems Team Elite has. I intended for those to he helpful opinions, or at least reasonable, "nice" opinions, which is how I'm hoping they came off.

I think I speak for a majority, be it little, that most of the recent complaints people have perceived as "hate", or have come off as "hate" were really just negative opinions brought forth by the chord the lobby revamps struck within many older players, and weren't meant to hurt the team as a whole, or insult other works.

Most of the "RedForest is better!" Or "Team Swish!" Was brought on by the general Team Elite discussion that the lobby revamp brought up, and was quite frankly, in my opinion, mob mentality, and caused people to start to take sides, and stir up drama.

In all honesty, I think the majority of people can learn from crazy situations like these. There's something to take away from every situation, and hopefully everyone had found their takeaway

Like some people above said, it's purely based on personal opinion. Not EVERYBODY is going to like what Team Elite does, but when they don't, I'd like them to keep it to themselves.

First of all, Team Elite (trust me) Has AMAZING people in its team, I for one have personally seen the spawn. You have NO IDEA what kind of builds are there.

This may be a little bit biased as I am on the team:
Team Elite are a wonderful group of people, And trust me, our WIP maps are doing good! . Now, all of this hate and stuff is kinda depressing, I mean, We spend HOURS and HOURS building, to see our work get hated on. I for one live by this motto, "If you have nothing nice to say, Dont say it at all". When people start hate threads against maps, lobbys, hubs peoples work in General, it hurts. Put yourself in All of team elites shoes, especially Joshkey Dave kezzer1995 (sorry for the tag) <--They have literally poured there heart and souls into this team and its work, Only for it to be hated on. Now once you have put on our shoes go spend a couple weeks and 20+ hours of constant work, then get someone to talk garbage about it kks? Team Elite will continue to build maps, even if you hate them. (Harry Potter nerd reference ) Did Harry give up when a quarter of the entire world was trying to kill him? No. I suck at analogies. Point is, Dont hate on things other then yours, infact dont hate on your work!
Team Elite has tried there best, you think we for one second PURPOSELY made a bad map/lobby/hub? No. We strive to help MCSG. When a leader of a large group of people makes a decision is EVERYONE in that group going to like it, No. When a jury makes a decision against/with the defense, the other side clearly wont like it.

Team Elite does there best,
If you have nothing nice to say, DONT SAY IT AT ALL.
