It all starts with someone who is determined to spend more that 18+ hours into mcsg, no-stop, no sleep, no breaks, nothing. Not saying everyone is like this, but some are. For example GoldEllipse was determined to be #1 on the leaderboards. He was the first person to reach 100 wins in the new leaderboards. No one could compete GoldEllipse in his prime time. After being #1 for quite a while, he couldn't hold the stress and the hate he was getting, being called a ''booster'', a ''hacker'' etc. Usually players up in the leaderboards get hate and these titles.
Anyways, about ''The Leaderboard Blood Bath'' I refer to this because its a cycle. A cycle that will come to an end when there is no more to fight for. GoldEllipse lost his position to croe97. Everyone was very surprised by this result and change in the leaderboards. After GoldEllipse not being #1, everyone started actually trying. Its like he had something that demotivated other players to try. But of course, can croe keep his position? No. TheMCPharaoh took his position.
Getting this a bit? I've been playing mcsg for about 2 years now and I've notice this in both Legacy and New leaderboards. There is always someone who is determined to try in the beginning, the first person gets surpassed, the second gets surpassed, then eventually the third one will be surpassed. This is all a cycle, that soon comes to an end.
Back in the old leaderboards, Gravey4rd Wasn't always #1 since the beginning of the MCSG Leaderboards, he competed for it, as the blood bath passed, players kept surpassing one another in the #1 spot. Gravey4rd out-competed each and single other player behind, and in front of him until he was #1 for a long period of time (6-7 months).
Hopefully everyone gets this cycle that I call ''The Leaderboards Blood Bath'' and everyone who's new or haven't noticed this, fully understands it now.
