Here are the reasons I love Breeze Island.

- There's almost always a big fight at spawn
- So many routes to take
- The water chases arn't that bad because if you chase someone long enough, you, or them will give up.
- Final 3 Goes By Fast
- Getting Kills With A Bow
- The Free Diamond Sword

First of all, this is in the wrong section. It should be in the Survival Games Discussions section..

- The water chases arn't that bad because if you chase someone long enough, you, or them will give up.

We don't like the map BECAUSE of the LONG water chases...

So many routes to take? Almost every single chest is looted after the first 3 minutes. The water chases ARE that bad. You should be able to either use the terrain to your advantage, bye either catching up to your opponent, or being able to run away. With water, unless you have a boat, neither is possible. You just keep swimming endlessly at the same speed of the other player. The death match isn't supposed to be a long event, but neither a short one. Players are givin 5 minutes for a reason, so that they can plan, and so they have time to stratigize. Yes, there are 10 seconds before death-match, but that isn't enough time to make a good plan. You can get kills with a bow on any map if you can actually USE the bow. Lastly, a free diamond sword it VERY bad. It is very unfair to other players and can drastically chnage the outcome of a game. Just my thoughts on the subject, while it's a great map, I don't believe that its MCSG material.

While you are entitled to your opinion, I'm going to give mine. Please note that I am not in anyway saying your opinion is wrong, it's your opinion. ;)

Breeze Island was a truly innovative map at the time. It broke quite a few grounds when it comes down to it all, including: first fan submitted map, first map to have more water than main land, first map to take place on an island. At first sight Breeze is an attractive map, that's a plus, but some of the things you mentioned can be taken quite negatively. Such as:

- "Almost always a big fight at spawn": there's typically a big fight at every spawn, if anything it's a bit more frustrating because if someone has a sword and is near you, you're typically dead. You don't even get a chance for survival or any space to run.

- "So many routes to take": there's routes on every map, if anything: i feel very limited with my chest routes on Breeze. A good route is almost always ran on by 4 or so people. And any other route typically consists of little to no chests, which is quite a downfall.

-"The water chases aren't that bad": They're pretty bad. Having to swim for over 5 minutes just to try and kill someone is annoying. The constant rodding just get's repetitive and annoying.

-"Final 3 goes by fast": That's not really a pro, and for me it goes by fairly slow because the players are just running in a circle forever. I typically just have to wait it out in the center until the lighting presses them into coming into the corn. A deathmatch shouldn't go by for that long unless it's a really epic fight, which it isn't.

-"Getting kills with a bow": Gee, never seen that done on a map before.

-"The free diamond sword": I'm not really familiar with the diamond sword you're mentioning, but that sounds extremely OP.

With that last one, it's no wonder you like this map. You probably win nearly every game once you get your handss on a powerhouse weapon like that.

I believe hes referring to getting a weapon from the middle and killing a few people around him, then getting 2 diamonds. The vines and the logs can make it difficult to escape the middle if someone is attacking you.

Ew. The chests at corn are sometimes tier 1, which is unacceptable (and I think it is actually a bug). Maybe you are lucky, but people don't 'give up' when they are being water chased. A team is required (I think) to get the free diamond sword, and if you don't have armor or PvP skill, it is useless. I only know of like 3 routes (The different mountains), unless you enjoy swimming for your route, which makes you swim even longer than you do when going in to water chases. Also, going routes in the water is more likely to get you involved in water chases. This is one of the worst maps on the servers. The PvP in general is horrible, because the land is so small. Deathmatch is a free win if you have a lot of arrows, a bow, and get to the center first, because you can shoot anybody to death, or at least get them low, and then kill them with a sword/axe. Or vice versa, you could be the one killed in that situation.
Teams are nearly impossible to escape, because if they have bow and arrows, you're screwed because there is hardly anywhere to run besides the water, which you will get shot to death. Even if you do run on land, they will most likely give up and kill you later, or do a cut-off with one teammate and get you. The new chest items really made this map suck. All the tiers were screwed up, and the almost countless amounts of arrows make even a nooby and well known escape route (the water) impossible to do. Lol sorry for this extremely long post on why this map sucks in my and most other people's opinion.

Does anyone know what happened to Breeze island 2?

It was a sketch, he wanted someone else to make one. He's however, working on another BI2 for another server, with xBayani and cameron224. He might have used his sketch for it though.
