things like gg and all that have been in this community since the start and until now no one have complained i feel as stated is my response mooclan posted its really really silly to let that sort of thing effect you it is in no way offensive its just bad sportsman ship that is all.
You're wrong. GG has been around since the start of MCSG, but it's usage was completely different- you'd say 'GG' at the end of a game out of respect for the other players, as is done in most gaming communities. However, nowadays it is used as a taunt just as often, especially when used in conjunction with terms such as 'rekt' and 'ez' - yesterday I had a fly, kill aura, no knockback and fast bow reload hacker fly after me and kill me, then say 'gg lol' in chat. This was after I called him out for hacking, and was clearly intended to make me mad. This is not just bad sportsmanship; this is abuse- some people are more fragile than others, and not every insult can be dismissed like water off a duck's back, especially if it happens on a regular basis, which it does. This kind of stuff is causing people to leave in their hundreds, maybe thousands, and in certain cases is a bannable offense. Just yesterday I filed reports on 4 abusive players, all of which were given the standard 'this player has been dealt with' response.

You clearly don't take this type of thing seriously enough, and if suitable action isn't taken against bowser and Krypton (assuming they don't give a valid reason) then that just goes to show how impervious certain staff members are, and is honestly pretty disgraceful.

DaveIm just going to put this out there because people dont seam to get it "rekt, gg, gg10" are in no way against the rules and never will be. One thing I can agree with dave on. I mean, the game is based off of something where 24 kids kill each other to win a sadistic game.

I understand its annoying and some people don't like doing this but this is my way to stop it.
Step 1. esc.
Step 2. Options.
Step 3. Multiplayer settings
Step 4. Click the 'Chat: Shown' twice so it turns to Chat: hidden
Step 5. bye

I'm pretty sure that if you do that you can't see the countdown, etc.

I do not feel that words like "eZ" "Rekt" should not be punishable. People need to be tough and not make a big deal of it. It should not make any one feel bad or get angry, you should just ignore it and move on. It is border line abuse and it is not that bad to be banned for it. Abuse is if you are cursing or saying they are stupid multiple times. I don't think saying eZ should get you banned. But if you say "eZ get Rekt you stupid moron" then it is abuse. But come on guys it is not a big deal. It is just my opinion and please don't hate. Everyone can give their opinion and I thought this was a safe place to do so.

Saying Ez is basically saying im bette than you

So anyone is allowed to say gg10, eZ, L2p, etc upon killing someone? Asking for conformation as I've heard many different answers to this question.

As I'm going to say here as I just woke up, Dave did essentially cover the situation. These kinds of sayings (gg, g3t r3kt, l2p) have been around since the beginning of MCSG. As a reliable source (since I've been here since the beginning of MCSG); its always been said. In any sort of competitive scenario, bad sportsmanship arises. Wether thats just people uselessly taunting you; or a complete rage in chat with hacker accusations and vulgar language. It will arise in any sort of competitive situation. For example, the xbox live call of duty sandbox? You will always here something inappropriate there; as its a very common place competitive scenario. We cannot and will not force good sportsmanship; unlike how coaches make you shake hands of the opposing sports team. This is the internet where people maliciously hide behind the anonymity that comes with an online game. Wether or not its against the rules, it will still happen in the frequency that it occurs now. At MCGamer, we will not force something that either goes against someones own personality over something so incredibly trivial. If your really insulted by these kinds of sayings said by someone anonymous over the internet, I suggest a fresh perspective on your self worth centers. Furthermore, these kinds of sayings will only stop should the people who say them decide to stop.

As for Bowser and Krypton; they will not be receiving any sort of reprimandation, as simply they haven't broken any of our rules. However, what I can say; is that the situation will be further reviewed to see if anything else was said, and *if deemed necessary* will be acted on.
