About Hackers & Teamers

People might have already asked about this, but writing a new post to find the answers I want seems to be easier to me than going through 5000 discussions.
I seek an answer as to why there is no Anti-Hack plugin installed on the servers.
I also ask you why some of the SG-Team members approve teaming.

I say that the SG-Team knows as good as I do, that
- there are very often hackers playing on the servers,
- Minecraft is incredibly easy to hack and
- working Anti-Hack plugins that block hacks like X-Ray, Aimbot and AutoSprint exist.

Id est, it seems rather strange that the server has no such plugin installed.
Furthermore, I ask why there is no Anti-Hack plugin installed on the servers.


As to the approval of teamers by the staff, it is that I have seen multiple mods on servers that approved teaming...
"Teamers are awesome!",
"It is your choice if you don't want to team".

The approval of teaming is irrational, for
- The server provides no way of guaranteed teaming, you will need to ask players yourself. But with that method, it is not guaranteed that you can team and
- talkativeness, Skype and internet-friends should not be requirements to play the game fair.

Ergo, it is to be asked why some of the SG-Team members approve teaming.

You complaining about hackers confuses me a lot, since there is no Nodus anymore, and even though there are still a lot of other clients that you can download but none of those are as official as Nodus. Making for an insane decrease of hackers in my experience.
There used to be a no-cheat plus plugin on these servers but that didn't work out for the better because it made the game quite laggy and buggy. That's all I know about that but they may have installed a whole other plugin since then.

About teaming: There will always be teams in any SG game, that is because it's fun to do because it is fun to team with friends. I know teaming is OP but it is part of the game and the only way you will ever get improvement with this is by getting better at the game yourself. By the way it is far from impossible to take out teams making it not that OP or 'unfair'.
The staff isn't obligated to support your opinion because of the stuff that I just wrote down.

MCSG does have NCP but unfortunately there is no way to stop mods like "aimbot" or "Chestfinder" "Ergo" Why we have mods.

We HAVE anti-hack programs installed, just not the extreme ones because they ruin the gameplay for everyone else.
You can't block player x-rays...

Also, don't even get started on teaming.

I dont agree on any of the hacker points as the server is doing its best to stop them, there are many mods and its easy to report people hacking, with teaming I tend to agree and disagree, I think teaming is good as it allows you to play with your friends and stuff its just the large teams which I don't like, at a stretch I would do a three person team but thats pretty rare and if it was like 3 v 1 we wouldnt all go for the one guy, it just irritates me when you get like a 5 team stroll in and wipe the game because although sometimes you are lucky enough to kill them it would be pretty rare, it especially annoys me when they talk about how pro they are.. yet they are in a huge team.. so yknow

I feel bad when me and my huge team come in the game... When I have them all we consist of 10-12 players... I know it isnt fair but man, deal with it. I have taken down a 7 man team my self. They all had stone swords and better armor. Sometimes teams are unbeatable, other times they noobs and easy to kill. Plus when people team games tend to go faster because people are grouped together.

If you were saying deal with it to a 3-4 team, ok I would try and split off some and take the team down slowly.. but 10-12? man come on get some decency and play properly. You shouldn't be proud of having a big team, there is no need and if you know its not fair.. don't say deal with it, just don't do it! I wasn't talking about the nooby big teams I meant the good players, such as yourself, who decide its cool to be in a huge team

I'm sorry, but ncp is fine as it is, and if it's more developed then MCSG will be in a bad state.

Like others said, to many anti-hack plugins ruin the pvp, which is a vital part of the gameplay.

While one of MCSG's priorities is to get rid of hackers, a larger priority is to make the game fun for the community, which the majority do not hack in.

It might be a point that these plugins could cause laggs.
However, your points on why teaming should be allowed are invalid, for
- the chance of people teaming would surely decrease if teaming is officially forbidden and
- even if it isn't that OP, it still is an advantage that can be prevented(at least partially).
And it remains that some SG-Team members approve teaming.

If it is that there are no Anti-Hack plugins that disable Aimbot, ChestFinder etc., please infrom me how you are sure of that.

And next, tell me if you really have informed yourself enough about Anti-Hack plugins. I am quite sure that you can disable X-Ray, or at least make the hack useless.

I cannot agree on your point stating that it is easy to report people hacking, for
- it is not that all players have a recording software ready while playing and
- when it is that a video proof is made, you often cannot be completely sure whether the player under suspicion is hacking or having lagg issues.
