Moderator Applications To strict?

Hi everyone, my most recent mod application was declined yet again which now i'm getting really annoyed about. It's clear I do want to be a moderator on mcsg and I try the best off my ability to write my moderator application and I have not gotten far with it all off them have been declined. I don't think it's fair that because off the teaching methods off which they are taught and have learned by themselves and there teachers they loose out on being an mcsg moderator that they want to be. Just saying so don't post hate.

It's supposed to be strict, they can't just let anyone become a mod.

If they could make the moderating requirements wayyyy more strict, people would actually be safe for unfair bans. And that would be fun, wouldn't it?

I want to make sure we get dedicated, mature, and active moderators. We the Sr. Staff get annoyed when we see a new moderator ends up. We have lowered the age limit to 14 but you need to have a pretty good application to get hired. I am not saying you do not fulfill any of those three traits I put above but we are being extremely picky now with who we pick. We do not want drama, we want moderators who do their job, and we want moderators who play and are noticed on the forums. Yes we do have moderators YOU might not know of but a lot of other people DO know them.

I see your point in saying it isn't fair to people who don't know, but if you don't know critical things, how will you moderate MCSG correctly? Applications hold the relatively high standard they currently do, so moderators will also be held up to that high of a standard.

Lowering the "strictness" of applications, means lowering the quality of moderators.

I've always thought, and probably always will that standards should be held even higher than they already are, so they can assure only the absolute best, most experienced moderators, although I think it's perfect where it's at.

If anything, it should be higher, rather than lower.

I will agree that he applications are strict but that's for a reason. A lot of the mods we get are great, but even with the "strict-ness" of the application we still do get some pretty undeserving mods. (I won't name names)
