Moderator Applications To strict?

I just got pending on a mod application and my app was about 700-800 words long so for me it wasnt that hard as I am only 13

You have to remember it is ''pending'' you have not been accepted yet :3

Although the saying 'quality over quantity' plays true, it's hard to get your whole persona over in such a compact word count. Nobody said anything about quality OR quantity (exclusive), so why not both?

Yeah I think I got that because It said in the E-mail the application will be passed onto Senior staff for review

Why are you people still commenting, also I declined the offer because I didn't want to be taught how to write a mod application.

The "stricter" the application format the better the mods. I would rather have the best of the best moderators than a easier application by far. Everyone gets a fair chance of getting moderator. If you don't meet the requirements or staff doesn't think you are qualified enough to get moderator than you don't deserve moderator. The MCSG staff can't give everyone staff, they have to give it to the people who they deem fit to be moderator to keep the servers well-run.
